Regis Umugiraneza

Regis is the co-founder and director of CARL Group and Head of the Agro-processing cluster at the Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum (RYAF). He brought about what was at first regarded as a “crazy idea”, namely making pastries out of sweet potatoes – something later proven to be possible and also from where the CARL Group stemmed from (www.carlgroup.org).

Regis is known to have an entrepreneurial eye. He is an ambitious, patient and optimistic person. Regis hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics at the University of Rwanda. He is active at the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs at Private Sector Federation (PSF) and serves as the vice chairman of the chamber.
